While We’re Here
Branding, Experience | November 2025
Born out of an intense period of grief, While We’re Here is an exploration of how our mortality gives meaning to life. We live in a world that prioritizes productivity and permanence, while simultaneously avoiding death in every way we can. Yet, it is the one thing that we all share - it is the most universal experience.
This project reframes mortality as a quiet gift: if we lived forever, nothing would be special. The knowledge that our time here is limited encourages us to be present - to hold each other longer, laugh harder, and appreciate the small moments that carry us through our seemingly mundane days.
Because of You encourages visitors to honor those they have lost by sharing what they have learned from them and actively carry them as they go through life.
Blips in Time celebrates fleeting moments and life’s small joys, gathering them around an exponential timeline - a nod to how short our time on Earth really is, and how lucky we are to coexist.
This Too Fades asks visitors to share their most embarrassing memories, being a symbolic act of release and connection.
